UKD Pre-Grading Autumn Kata Course

A fantastic gathering of like minded students today.

We sometimes need to allocate time to study some of the techniques we are required to practise in more depth so that we have time to appreciate the dedication that is required to develop our art. 

80 students from all over North Devon came together today to practice kata. We trained in four groups from 4 year olds to those in their fifties. Fantastic effort! and we know that today’s training tested some students to their limits but the most important thing is to keep going and not give up. We can see the progress you are making and hope everyone left with a little something that they wouldn’t have gained in a normal training session. Repetition is key. We have taught several hundred students this week and want to thank all of those that made a special effort to come and train on a Sunday. This was a pre-grading kata course and we’re looking forward to seeing the results on the 25th! Thank you from Union karate Do. See you in the dojo next week.
